- Widow of Garling.
Beata Pehrsdr Soika died probably in 1694. In any cases Paul Åsenbrygg remarries with Gunila Samuelsdr (person I10040), the widow of Garling. On 26 July 1696 there is the christening in Hiitola of Jacob, son of Paulus Osnabryg and Gunila Samuelsdr. So Gunila is not the mother of Nicolaus, she is his stepmother. The christening of Jacob in 1696 suggests that Gunila was around 85 years of age when she died, not 100. It could not be traced where earlier stories came from that she was from Frisia and born in Groningen. We could not find any support for these stories.
