- Many genealogy websites have Swaentje listed in as Bernt Hendrick van Osenbruggen's daughter because her last name is Berends and she shows up in Rijswijk in 1652. However, she is the only one of Berndt's children that is not shown in the 1638 lidmaten list. Why?

Swaentgen Berends trouwde Hendrik Jacobsz op 15 februari 1652 in Ravenswaaij.
Ondertrouw 25 januari 1652 in Rijswijk en Wijk bij Duurstede
After digging a bit we found Swaentje Bernts, from Lingen, who first married Theunis Wesselse from Houten, both living in Wijk bij Duurstede, and announced their wedding on 24 Dec 1643 and married in Jan 1644. Then almost 10 years later she is a widow, still living in Wijk bij Duurstede, and marries Hendrik Jaccobssen, widower of Lijsbeth Meertens, living in Ravenswaaij. Notice of marriage 25 Jan 1652
Therefore is seems that Swaentje is NOT a daughter of "our" Berndt Hendriks van O.
