    • Jan van Osnabrugge (Oostenbruggen) (1800-1869)
      Son of Gerrit and Dirkje van Wagensveld.

      After having received a year's dispensation to serve in the military, because of his small posture, Jan van Osnabrugge was conscripted into the infantery in 1820. He was honorably discharged after 5 years of service.
      On November 8, 1834 he moves from Renswoude to Utrecht and after four years there he moves to and settles in Tull en
      t Waal as a mason and contractor.
      The Reformed Church's records there show that he did several jobs for the church.

      Na in 1819 wegens te kleine gestalte voor een jaar te zijn vrijgesteld van militaire dienst, werd Jan van Osnabrugge in 1820 ingelijfd bij de 7e afd. infanterie en na vijf jaar dienst eervol ontslagen.
      Hij vestigt zich 8.11.1834 te Utrecht. komende van Renswoude, onder de naam Van Oostenbruggen (later blijkt dat dit Van Osnabrugge moet zijn); na 24.11.1838 vestigt hij zich in Tull en 't Waal.
      Volgens een proces-verbaal dd. 26.2.1844 heeft hij op verzoek van het kerkbestuur zich naar Honswijk begeven, om aldaar de bouwvallige overblijfselen van de voormalige kerk op te nemen. Hij heeft na nauwkeurige opneming van gezegde overblijfselen dezelve in gemoede en naar beste kennis en wetenschap waardig geschat. eene som van éénhonderdvijfenzeventig gulden.
      In het rekeningboek van de diaconie der hervormde gemeente van Tull en 't Waal komen verschillende posten voor wegens verricht metselwerk. Volgens de notulen van de kerkvoogdij was hij in 1855 eigenaar van een huis met erf in erfpacht van de kosterij van 't Waal.

      In 1834 verkoopt Jan van Osnabrugge, wolkammer te Renswoude roerend goed t.w.v. f 80,67 (Not. Scherpenzeel 1211, nr. 33; 14-10-1834).
      Hij gaat eerst in Utrecht wonen en daarna in Tull en 't Waal
