    • Matthijs Mertensz van Oosten(a)brugge/Ostenbruggen. Hij is gedoopt op zondag 4 september 1740 in Ochten. Matthijs is overleden op donderdag 17 september 1807 in Dirksland, 67 jaar oud.
      Hij trouwde op zondag 13 mei 1764 in Dirksland met Cornelia Klaasse Mostman, geboren in 1731, dochter van Nicolaas (Klaas) Mostman en Sara Quack. Zij is gedoopt op zaterdag 6 oktober 1731 in Dirksland. Cornelia is overleden.
      Hij trouwde op zondag 2 juni 1793 in Dirksland met Arendje Jac Polder, dochter van Jacob Polder en Grietje van der Kers/Kas. Zij is gedooptop zondag 7 februari 1768 in Dirksland. Arendje is overleden op donderdag 3 mei 1849 in Dirksland, 81 jaar oud.

      René Luijkenaar in Ottawa kindly gave me a gedcom with information on the descendants of this Matthijs, totalling 770 people, including 130 van Oostenbrugges, all living in Goeree-Overflakkee.
